I know it’s not *quite* finished, but sometimes seeing a painting in situ helps me get a clearer idea of what it needs next.
I’m loving the colour and gritty texture of this abstract, and I’m happy with the composition, but at the moment I’m thinking it needs a pop of an unexpected colour and maybe some finer lines.
So for now I’m just pondering!

4 months 😳 That’s how long it had been since I painted anything. I started a new job in June, as well as part-time study, and life was suddenly very different and the days turned into weeks, which turned into months.
But I always knew it would be there waiting for me when I was ready. Today was a great day. 💚
