This is it☝🏻behind the scenes 🎥 He originally proposed to do screen-printing which he had done of research of printmaking before and he asked me what other techniques can add into it. In this project, he wants to shooting to be a film because he has a filmmaking background. He had never done printmaking before, so we were starting from scratch. We started doing them on separating the layers of color and on computer and then we ended up on paper, and discussed to do etching of the splash marks and drypoint his own wording and woodcut of his own design stamp and litho on the crown, the images and processing are documentation of a performance he gave. I have to turn over a part of myself to somebody else and many obstacles have to be overcome which can be challenging. Different artists are different degrees of “hands-on.” Collaborating with a printmaker makes the artist think about making their work in a different way. It has been a wonderful experience to work with @mrtripleton .
