Rather than a fixed institutional visual identity, Day Shift Office @day.shift.office — Bára Růžičková @bara.ruzickova and Terezie Štindlová @terezie.stindlova — are developing a processual graphic language for Shedhalle that digs into the archaeology of the institution's past, layers it with what's unfolding now, and grows alongside our five-year programme — shifting, accumulating, and staying as open-ended as the dramaturgy itself.
Day Shift Office is an anti-workaholic graphic design studio currently based in Brno and Amsterdam. They work primarily with cultural institutions, media platforms, and publishing houses, with a focus on visual identities and book design. The themes of (non)work and questioning the 24/7 system run through their projects — from the self-published Multivitamin magazine following office fruits working overtime, to long-term project Lazy Vision, where Bára makes hand-tufted rugs as slow as possible.
