Daxton Mock takes his first BWR victory in spectacular form. What a race he had. Second, 20 seconds back, was Lance Haidet, and a second later was Matthew Wilson. What a race to watch unfold. 107 miles of Unroad mania.

@seaotterclassic absolute sufferfest this year☠️😵. No hiding on a course like this - if you don’t show up on race day, you pay for it. Spent a lot of time doing exactly that.
Got popped from the lead group and had to fight a different battle after that, but kept it together mentally and kept pushing all the way to the line. Not the result I wanted, but proud of the effort and taking the small wins.

Onto the next @highlandsgravel
A week in Northern California 🤙🏼🌊
Started off at the @guenergylabs athlete summit - nothing short of spectacular. Visiting HQ and seeing where the gel magic happens, then a few days up at @westpointinn , fully off the grid (no service, no WiFi). A reset I didn’t know I needed. Left with a deeper appreciation for the company that started it all. Huge thanks to @yhauswald and the whole GU crew.🧪🥼❤️
Then across the mountain to stay with @jviolich - my old team manager from @bearnationalteam . Really cool reconnecting and stacking miles with @cswartzz Thanks for having me 🤝🐻
Back to Tucson now - one more week of work before resetting for the next races.. @seaotterclassic@highlandsgravel@belgianwaffleride
Rumor around @guenergylabs HQ is that the boys have strongly developed aerobic engines (per the testing data😂). Massive thanks to @yhauswald , Roxanne and Chris for helping @daxtonmock and I get into the performance lab this week while at the GU athlete summit. Having this incredible team of smart people to help us chase down the details is unreal.
Also to have GU President @runboulet there cheering us on during testing perfectly sums up the love, stoke and culture GU strives for🫶. The Wisco boys couldn’t be more grateful to be partnered with such great people. #GUforit #gucrew
First time racing @midsouthgravel and it was the perfect way to wrap up my first race block of the season. Came straight over after @valleyoftearsgravel and it was pretty wild watching this small college town completely transform and get swarmed by bike racers and community. I’ve heard so much about the atmosphere over the years and it definitely lived up to the hype 🔊🍾
Lined up with a simple plan with @cobe.free — stay safe early, communicate, and once the race split up make sure we were in the right moves without driving the race ourselves. In gravel plans almost never actually work… but somehow yesterday it did.
The front group slowly whittled down until the two of us were there in a group of six with around 40 miles to go. A few big moves later I found myself just off the front group fighting for 4th with @adamroberge and @pstetina . Held on through some savage rollers and managed to win that sprint for 4th.
Honestly though, the best part of the day was seeing Cobe pull it off. Watching a good friend and teammate win after the work he’s put in all winter (and over his whole career) was pretty special. Almost better than winning myself 🫢🤩🏆

Dirt crit: fun pain. Gravel race: brutal pain.
Solid weekend racing in Texas 💵. Took on the dirt crit Friday and the gravel race Saturday. The dirt crit is such a unique event the crew @valleyoftearsgravel puts on — $6,000 in primes and a course that really rewards good bike handling. I knew it suited me. Ended up taking $3k in primes and the overall win while having an absolute blast. One of my favorite races of the year — feels like a mix of cross and MTB short track, which is right up my alley.
I was still buzzing Friday night, but 14 hours later it was time to line up for 93 miles of sand, gravel, singletrack, and crosswinds. I pushed hard early to make a selection and we had a group of six about 20 miles in. Thought we’d work together and race it out in the final miles, but instead it turned into constant attacks, the second group coming back, and my legs fading quicker than I hoped.
With about 40 miles to go I couldn’t follow a strong move from @nordahlsvendsen in the sand, which left four up the road working well together. Had one of the most brutal chases of my life with @simon_pellaud trying to keep it close, but the legs eventually gave out and I rolled in for 9th 💀.
After the win was gone, the goal was just locking in a top 10 for the $1k. Overall, a pretty sick weekend.
Next up @midsouthgravel 👀
