26.2. I never thought something like this was possible for me to achieve and I’m eternally grateful for the people who have supported me. Shout out to my mom for being the reason I do this and always pushing me to be the best version of myself. Dedicated to my aunt Kendall
Kasper,
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had you in my life. You were so loving in nature and beloved by so many people. Although I am devastated that you’re gone, I know that your spirit will live forever. Thank you so much for the many good times we shared over 14 years.
Kasper 2011-2025
I’ve never been an athlete my entire life. I’ve always enjoyed the comfort of my boundaries within the arts because that is what I’m good at. I’ve always told myself that I can’t succeed at athletic accomplishment because of too many factors. I’m too skinny. I’m flat footed. I never played any sports in high school.
So why do all this? Why train for a half marathon despite never doing anything like this before? To prove to myself that I am capable of so much more. I’ve visualized lies about myself for so long, and convinced myself I’m not capable of athletic achievement. But you cannot visualize lies your entire life. The comfort of our own skill sets make us scared to try new things. Our minds trick us into being comfortable, when in reality, it only hinders our truest potential.
If you’re reading this, know that you have potential to no ends. You are an undying flame that can achieve LITERALLY anything you want. All it takes is one step in the right direction.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me, it means the world to me. Thank you for helping me reach new heights I never thought were capable. This is only the beginning of my journey, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
Stay hard
