A few years ago I started making Kaleidoscopes. What stated as a friend accidentally breaking one I bought at a thrift store turned into an obsession. Finally after a life filled with playing music, I finally found a way to express my creativity tangibly. Fast forward a few years, I am making some of the largest scopes in the game and continue to innovate at a rate that even surprises myself. Through this journey I have been able to transform and work through every single human emotion possible it feels. From bitter despair, to wild achievement, broke to successful, in love to heart broken. One thing that has always remained constant is my drive to love others and inspire creativity to the masses. Hey guys thanks so much for taking a peek at my art! About this scope: 4 feet long with a large triangle viewing window. The frame is constructed with tapered trapezoids, resulting in a beautiful equilateral triangle! One amazing fact about triangles of this variety is when they reflect, they create perfect hexagonal geometry. That’s what makes the honey comb/ flower of life effect. Leonardo DaVinci once said, “art is geometry for our eyes as music is geometry for our ears.” A quote that I live by. Also parallels the quote “art is the decoration of space as music is the decoration of time.” I make this art to emphasize how much vastness exists in each and every space and hope this work resonates with you! Very pleased that I can finally announce publicly that I was chosen for the arts and business council of Nashville’s periscope program. Students selected go through an intensive artist entrepreneurial mentorship. So excited to continue learning and developing as an artist and beyond thankful for being chosen for this opportunity!
