Thinking about boundaries lately. Edges. The *sigh* liminal space between worlds. The works in my cast âwaterâ series imply they are part of a (vastly) larger whole. The rectangular pieces borrow from the gridâthe human invention to partition spaceâand suggest they are anonymous quadrants of space. The Edge Series imagines what the edges of that space might look like.

Congratulations @kentstateschoolofart Glass Prof. @davin.ebanks and @ksuarthistory Prof. Joseph Underwood! Together they co-curated the 4th edition of the Cayman Islands Biennial. Entitled âArchipelago,â this biennial foregrounds the unique intersection of individual and collective roles in shaping the current moment, just as an archipelago can be viewed as both a single conglomerate entity and as hundreds of distinct islands with individual shores.
First âhot-sculptedâ piece I ever made back in 2000-n-odd. It was in a class with @rossrichmondglass and @eoin.breadon during a @kentstateschoolofart summer Blossom Intensive Workshop. Forever grateful for their supportive tutelage and friendship.
