Artist Spotlight: David Zaix
Born in the concrete jungle as one of Inland Empire’s most wanted pirates and growing up with siblings who raved in the early 2000s, David Zaix has been immersed in rave culture since age six, shaped by influences from Reggae, Hip Hop, Rock, and Ska. At 13, his brother, Kill The DJ, brought him to a party to help pick tracks, a night that sparked his passion for DJing.
Since 2019, he’s performed alongside world-renowned headliners at clubs, festivals, warehouses, and DIY raves, always striving to create a safe space where music heals. In 2022, he founded Bass Realm to champion underground sounds across the lE and LA, with Drum n Bass at its core. As a DJ, producer, coordinator, and proud father, David Zaix pushes his sound with a comic-loving junglist spirit, moving hearts and floors at 174 bpm.
