In honor of āDutton Ranch Freestyleā going PLATINUM, letās revisit the music video shoot that took us from West Virginia to Montana. Hereās the full story:
I call up my brother @emadrashidi (who has shot a majority of my music videos of the years) and tell him about this new song I need to shoot a video for. The West Virginia State Fair was going on, so we thought it would be cool to shoot it there. We get some awesome footage and while filming Emad looks at me and says āman, I wish you wouldāve given me a little more heads up and I couldāve called my friend in Montana who has a big farm, Iām sure she wouldāve let us shoot there.āā¦..so I said, ācall her. letās do it.āā¦.less than 72 hours later weāre on a flight to Bozeman and the rest is history.
When we were editing there was so much cool footage from the WV State Fair that it just didnāt feel right to omit it, so we did the rewind mid video and ran it back allowing both locations to shine. (You know me, Iām always going to represent where Iām from)
