(This is the first from a series of workshops.)
Social Body Lab is Organized by Erratica as a gesture of solidarity with Lebanon. All proceeds
go to Hunna Arts & Culture Center a community space in Okaibeh which is once again transforming into a shelter and local support hub for displaced families.
This series of workshops is an invitation for local dancers and multidisciplinary artists from
Lebanon and across the Arab world and everyone who feels concerned, to come together. This
event is created in response to the overwhelming political realities the region is currently facing.
The focus of this gathering is to work with and through the physical body — using rhythms of
movement and our voices to collectively create a shared social body memory.
Erratica Collective will host the event, featuring rotating teachers who will each lead a workshop
and assist with organizing the overall program. The workshops series will be spaces for somatic
observation, Shiatsu, improvisation, phrasing, and reflection, treating practice as a sensor for
socio-political realities. Emotional, muscular and skeletal states such as anger, fragility or
intensity will be explored not as themes but as bodily activations responding to social and
political conditions.
Who we are? Erratica is a nomadic laboratory of dancers and multidisciplinary artists, originally
founded in the Cilento region of Italy. What began as a site-rooted artistic experiment has since
unfolded across Europe and, more recently, in Lebanon. It brings together shared practices by David Kummer, DISCOllective, Mathilde Vrignaud, Maja Laplajne, Elena Dragonetti and Chada Halwani.
In 2024, it organised the Reverb Festival in Albanella (Italy), gathering artists, researchers and local communities. In 2025, it takes place in Italy and Berlin, focusing on cooperation, shared research and situated practices shaping Erratica as an evolving international network.

You are welcome to join us with/in or with/out your artistic practice & situation in the above mentioned period.
Let us know of your presence and get more info on Erratica 2026 at erratica.eu, [email protected] or with any of the permanent caretakers of Erratica.
The permanent caretakers of Erratica space that you will encounter in this period are David Kummer, Elena Dragonetti, Chada Halwani, Sophie Vautour, Mathilde Vrignaud and DISCOllective.
Erratica is a space for appearing and disappearing choreographic, artistic and production situations. It is a performative sharing and a shared performing.
We let go of the moment while fully inhabiting it at the same time.
The temporary, erratically unfolding nature of Erratica is political in itself, allowing us to act fluidly outside conventional notions of time and production.
We are a supportive system—an artistic family.
Let’s explore.

This training is an ongoing practice of listening, perceiving, composing, relating, moving and being. It weaves together Release and Klein Technique, Feldenkrais, and eastern approaches such as Aikido, Qi Gong, and Shiatsu. Drawing on experiences from different choreographic and dance experiences we explore the dialogue between inner and the outer environments. Qualities such as softness, quickness, jumpiness, grounding, and landing are central, as are musicality and joy. Individual practice meets collective care; touch becomes a mode of relation. Through exercises and work with scores we are activating our dancing and thinking body, landing in the now.

DIGESTIVE DANCE PRATICES
October 2025
Digestive dance practices are dealing with different difficulties in life and are asking the dance archive for support. They also speak out things that are difficult to speak about. They deal with love, grief, anger and other emotional and felt states. They are also connected to my long term research of eco choreography and ecological gestures and are always done with resting and resisting productivity and would not happen without collective care.
Thanks @isabelleschadofficial , Tanzhalle Wiesenburg, Mobile Ensemble and all other Companions like the cute raccoons and spirits of the space to continuously nourish this environment full of love and dedication.
Incredible grateful these spaces exist
The turbo capitalism will not eat us
And your funding cuts and war machines will not erase the eternal and infinite dancing body.
We will co resist this inhumane politics and language and seed togetherness with all species and creative drive in all forms we will resist the silencing and rise of fear and effect you with our deep loving practices beyond your words and hate.
