The tractor vs. mustang drag race action sequence took over 3 months to develop, collaborating with the incredible George Watts of
@holler.fpv (FPV Drone) and cinematographer, John Frost.
We storyboarded out every single shot, cinematically and technically, our sequence had our “A-Cam”, “B-Cam”, and “C-Cam” all synchronized shooting at the exact same time on every take- One camera flying at 90 MPH in the sky, one camera barely making it in John’s lap, ultra strapped in a chase car and gator, trying to keep up with stunt drivers
@paullacovara and
@ferragam0mike , driving over 70 MPH in our picture vehicles, and the GoPro camera capturing all of the detailed macro road shots and inside of Zack’s car.
@noahfearnleyy (“Zack”) did 90% of all of his own driving work, whilst Mike, his stunt double, took over for all of the very high-speed driving shots.
@shaylastensby (“Callie”) had all of her close-up shots captured on green screen and for the high-speed chase souped-up tractor racing, we had a very special stunt driver for her. The picture tractor, “Quick Draw” had its engine and suspension replaced specifically for this production so that it could reach very unconventional high-speeds w/o literally crumbling apart due to velocity.
