Yesterday was so much fun I have to write about it.
After the first NLS race was cancelled and I just had two laps in the dry with the for me new car last week, this last friday we could finally turn some laps and get the hang of the M4 GT3.
My last time in a GT3 car was 2021 and last time on the Nordschleife with a GT3 was 2015 🤯 And since then even the Cup cars have more or less the same pace. So of course I was excited to finally go under 8 minutes after so many years watching the other do it almost every race. This box was checked on friday.
In saturdays race we started P19 after just using one set of tires in qualifying (unlike others 🫢) and moved our way up to P6 in some part of the race. In my second stint I found my rhythm and started to really feel connected to the car which was a great feeling. Lapping sub 8 minutes in traffic several times gave my self confidence a good boost (since I‘m my own biggest critic sometimes)
I have to thank @antal.zsigo for giving me this opportunity this year. Already looking forward to NLS2 in three weeks.

I had the opportunity to capture some moments of the NLS race at Nürburgring with @davidjahn . Being my first race, I learned a lot, and in the end, it was an incredibly fun and wholesome experience. 🏎️🏁
