Lots of new things to see over here at the Palmer Public Library Youth Services YouTube Channel - new episodes in the Let’s Draw series, two new episodes in the How Do You Make Your Art series – one from @ishitajain24 and one from @mattphelandraws ! – and a brand new video in a brand new series! In the first installment of Science Clips, ‘Gravity and Orbits’, Sagan uses cut-paper animation to help us understand how gravity factored into the mission planner’s calculations for Artemis II’s trip around the Moon!
(I know that was a lot of exclamation marks, but look at all this great stuff!)
Fitting the puppet to the boat - a clip from the new episode of Making the Scene with Paper Mouse. Link to the full episode in bio. (Music: me on midi keyboard)
The first minute of the latest episode in the 'Let's Draw' series.
60 Seconds is enough to see how heavily influenced my work has been by the Public Television programming I grew up watching in the 70s. The Palmer Public Library logo, which I made back in 2020 when I first started doing children's videos for the library, even looks like the PBS logo of my childhood.
Another one from the small collection currently on view @marymooredesign , open noon - 5, Thurs - Sat.
(For fans of the Paper Mouse video series, I'm looking forward to starting work on the next episode soon.)
