Cuppa Tea TV singer songwriter stage at the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival 🤘🎶♥️☕️ Sunday June 7th McGings 2:30pm Free Admission Featuring David Hope, Sweet Jayne, Tony Reidy & Ezmay Grace This year the spirit of the folk club returns to the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival as Cuppa Tea TV, hosted by David Hope, brings a special afternoon of songs, stories and shared musical moments to the festival. On Sunday June 7th from 2:30pm to 5:00pm, audiences are invited to settle in for a unique live session inspired by the legendary Nashville “Writers in the Round” tradition. Our featured songwriters will take turns performing their original songs, sharing the stories behind them, and swapping musical moments in an intimate, relaxed setting. Blending the warmth of a traditional folk gathering with the craft of modern songwriting, our featured artists will present their own work alongside a selection of beloved folk songs. Expect honest storytelling, unexpected collaborations, and the kind of musical magic that only happens when great songs are shared in the round. Hosted by David Hope, the event captures the spirit of Cuppa Tea TV — music played up close, conversations between songs, and a genuine connection between artists and audience.
