Proud to share “Garden Shadows of the Sun” through this new beautiful featurette. This exhibition explores queerness in South Florida, weaving together local LGBTQIA+ portraits, historic and contemporary queer symbolism, and the beauty of creatures across nature that express queerness in their own ways.
Filmed in Coral Gables, this featurette highlights the layered history of place — connecting queerness past and present with the stories that shape South Florida. It also reflects on the challenges the exhibition faced given its location, and the resolutions that had to be negotiated along the way.

“The Hunters Son”
Created in my father’s taxidermy workshop, this self-portrait reflects on inherited gender expectations. The gun and taxidermy animals mirror the world I grew up in, while my mother’s necklace and my childhood toy gesture toward the parts of myself I learned to quiet as a closeted gay boy in a conservative environment.
Wow, what an amazing moment exhibiting 2 artworks curated by @_normal_ben_ at @masurmuseum in Monroe, Louisiana. Let me tell you… this place has a lot of heart and soul. Truly delighted to share my work with this community.

Life Circa early 2010’s with @michellecitrin_studios 🥹
We operated a photography studio out of Wynwood for about 5 years. Fresh faced, directly out of college, with little idea about how to manage a professional photo studio.
We learned so much during that time that led us both to find our own paths in our industries. Memory lane ✨
Join us this Wednesday for our monthly happy hour gathering! No RSVP required. Bring yourself, bring friends, and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink!
