I’m posting this picture because you can see on these three gorgeous faces the purest form of joy truly so precious. Miracles happen, believe . That’s my mum in the middle. She’s 90 and while waiting for a hip operation she fell in the spring and hit her head. There was bleeding on the brain and a lot of confusion as she was being passed from hospital to hospital, she got lost in the system for a minute, but perseverance of my family, me stuck here trying to rebuild and helpless, waiting, and waiting. They never stopped visiting, my brothers never stopped arguing for her as she was wrongly diagnosed at times as having early dementia , until one doctor did an extra CT scan and found her brain had moved a centimeter to one side in the fall and there was too much fluid on the brain. They drained it, it took a few weeks to snap back into that wee Scottish lassie we love, finally the hip operation and there we are . Gratitude is not anywhere near big enough a word for the emotions this picture stirs in me as I say a prayer tonight and every night for all the mums lost, I love you mum. Put the kettle on, I’ll be home soon. @caroline.ward.5264 left and teresa (not an instagram gal yet) and everyone who loves this little lady and did so much thank you and to that one dr. Who took the time to look at my mums face and saw not another patient at the end of a long day but a whole life not ready to be over yet, an accident had pressed pause and she made the rest of the movie possible. This beautiful woman is my friend Marg. I’ve been lucky enough to be in charge of her looks for more than twenty years and every time i’m as excited as the first. I think I’m the luckiest guy who ever walked to spend my time with this stunner, if there was one straight cell in me i’d have been Mr Helgenberger since ‘98 but she was spared 😜 focus David focus. robe time for the @peterlamasbeauty exotic oil elixir body scalp hair ( tiny bit) and no i’m not paid. It’s the most gorgeous and then @phytousa volume actif of course, you can pack it on damp hair and dry it in add more until it’s thick and not so soft but still healthy and shiny.
what happens when you wait 25 years to work with someone you have a feeling are lovely as they look? and then they’re just lovelier and their husband is the greatest guy, the daughters are beautiful and humble yet strong, interested and interesting, and they’re all a great tossed salad of teens and young lady and dads got it going on, and mums not too precious and funny, a pleasure and smart. They all leave for the reagan red carpet (Reagan released 30th) shouting leave the door for dogs to pee and mums in the full ensemble picking up empty dog bowls and you shout go, go. We did press for this film. Dennis Quaid is such a beautiful man inside and out. Penelope doesn’t get any better, not for me. The press all said thank you for this movie , they don’t make films like this anymore. It’s about a couple and about love and Dennis said this is about what a relationship can do for a man, a good relationship because Ronald Reagan said that Nancy Reagan saved his soul. He wrote her a letter every single day, every day .Go and see this movie go see the movie you’ll laugh you’ll cry and you’ll learn something. @penelopeannmiller was on my wish list for twenty years and i’m so grateful for every booking because she’s a hundred times lovelier than this picture. She is very funny and laughs easily. Apreciative , kind and generous are all words I’d use to describe her. @reaganmovie will give us a Nancy we haven’t seen thanks to her hard work. Penelope researched and the result is a love story about a man who loved a woman above all else . Dennis Quaid said in one interview that the Ronald Reagan he plays was made possible by Penelope Ann Miller. You’ll be seeing a few looks leading up to the release of @reaganmovie in theatres August 30th. I waited 20 years to work with Penelope, I hope she keeps me around, I look forward to every job. Shannen knew her cancer had returned and was undergoing incredibly challenging treatment while working tirelessly to promote early detection, screening anything she could do to encourage people to take charge. She didn’t tell anyone it had returned,not me or anyone because if it got out, she knew the focus would be on that and not what her passion was.
Getting the word out to take charge.
Please promise me now with her in mind that you will all get every test there is, take every precaution in lifestyle diet everything you can so she didn’t love us all so deeply in vain. Shannen was a strong powerful energy, and still a little girl who loved everyone , she loved people and all living things I will miss her the rest of my life ❤️.
