Yes, I am giving away my ‘69 C/20, and yes, the sideswipe damage has been addressed, as you’ll see in the next talkie. I’m currently making the engine better, which you’ll also see on video. Wanna win? See my store for all the rules. Link in bio.
Thursday is Freiday! You can celebrate by watching me clean up my Barn Find Bee, removing 36 years of mouse poo! ALSO, I’m giving away my 1969 Chevy C20 pickup. All the rules for entries are at the link in my profile.
Remember the Gargantuwagon from Roadkill Garage? To be clear, it is NOT MINE, but FYI, it’s listed on Bring A Trailer right now, and currently bid to $5500 with 6 days to go. How much will this 440 beast sell for?
You should probably get a Jeep for your mom. (Note: this sold instantly, but the buyer backed out after he realized it was too hardcore for him…and of course all the people who claimed “I’ll buy it right now” won’t email back. Normal.)
Here’s my list of project cars as of now (it does not include family cars or my pickup). I have recently sold my ‘72 Road Runner, Caddy Gremmie, Dave’s Red Truck, Galaxie convertible, 40 Ford, and 74 Cherokee. I have a deposit on the ‘69 Nova. I also had a deposit on the TJ, but yesterday the guy decided it was too much Jeep for him. So that’s still available. Oh, and I accidentally left off a ‘68 Newport from the list. Anyway…FYI. Thank you to those who care enough to often ask about my cars in your comments. I’m still trying to cut down.
@chris_birdsong_junkerup tipped me to this ‘71 R/T that had been parked for decades, and I dragged my feet on it forever. Chris finally bought it himself and did exactly the type of revival that I wanted to do…but in about a tenth of the time it would have taken me. Check out the transformation on the Junkerup channel.
Thursday is Freiday! Keith Turk and I drove this garbage 2400 miles for a special delivery…and it didn’t go THAT smoothly, especially for the poor deer. Wrenching, then and now shots, Americana, all the stuff. Check it out. @keithturk200
I’ve just learned that Kyle Loftis of 1320 Video died last night. This is terrible. I’ve known Kyle since the seminal days of Pump Gas Drags and Drag Week, which he absolutely helped grow. Of course he built one of the earliest examples of a social media empire. The Cleetus juggernaut was launched under his brand. He brought joy to so many tens of thousands of people. Godspeed, Kyle.
Yesterday was the 15th anniversary of the very first video on my YouTube channel, which was the rescue of the backyard Buick. What a crazy life it has been since then.
