@marcus_kwame , and published by @tenspeedgraphic . BIG JIM AND THE WHITE is a radical new take on ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN, told from Jim's perspective as he searches for his missing wife and children. Marcus is working with colorist @mxstruble on what has turned out to be an amazing project -- hands down the best thing I've worked on to date. BIG JIM AND THE WHITE BOY drops in October 2024, but you can pre-order now.

Two of the three versions of The Monster of Blackenstyne (not to be confused with Blackenstein) have arrived. The main version with a cover by @juskoart and the limited edition black & white & silent version with a cover by @aldenk_art are here! I'm just waiting on the @sanfordgreene cover. The book is drawn by @marcelo.dichiara and colored @pedro_estouco_colorist . Kickstarter rewards will start going out in the mail within the week.
On this day, two years ago, I got the phone call that I'd been dreading for years -- my mom had a massive stroke. She was non responsive, and at best had a few hours before she died. I rushed to the hospital and sat with her as she drew her last breath. It was the most difficult day of my life, and I relive it every single day, trapped in a repeating loop of grief and trauma. This is the last picture we took together, four days before she died. My mom was not perfect, and our lives were not perfect, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love you, mom.
