I'm a lover of God. I enjoy every opportunity to serve in the capacity of a minstrel; always head over heels with songs. And a writer of Chronicles.

*Connect, not cut off.* A while ago, I met with someone who did something similar to what I do. We began to do one or two together, but each time I assist the fellow with the job, the fellow gives me a peanut. However, after the “peanut”, the fellow will send kind words of appreciation to revere what was done. Nonetheless, I was contemplating opting out and not dealing with the fellow anymore. But those words of appreciation stayed with me and pulled me like a magnet. Fast forward, I had a lot on my plate at one point and this fellow got to know. The fellow did nothing at first but later referred me to someone who HELPED me with it completely. I was so glad! Ps: If I could re-save the fellow’s contact again and again, I would. Never be quick to cut off, your connect may just connect you and all things will work. Maybe you should stay and not quickly cut off, in my friend’s word, “you’re not a tailor”. #*The Chronicles with Eniola David*

Be Original As a singer, I've learnt to embrace my unique voice and not let others define my path. I was once criticised for my deep voice—some people said I sounded like a man and should sound more feminine. I tried to change, but it felt like I was wearing a mask. I lost myself, and with that, my original sound. But I didn’t give up. I kept singing, and people began to respond to my music in ways they never had before. They’d say, "Your voice is powerful,” or “Your voice is soothing.” That’s when I realised I had been chasing the wrong dream—trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what a singer should be. I’ve come to understand that it’s not about sounding masculine or feminine; it’s about being authentic. Your voice is a gift, and it’s beautiful just the way it is. Don’t change to please others. Just be you. Own it, and let your uniqueness shine. To anyone struggling with their identity, I say this: don’t change. Embrace your quirks, your flaws, and your unique voice. Turn what you once saw as weaknesses into strengths. Use them to create something meaningful. And never, ever give up on yourself. Your voice matters, and the world needs to hear it. #The Chronicles with Eniola David

https://youtu.be/NCbszkHE1as?si=mQs30Um_lUhYsUtY Many people said a lot when the Nigerian anthem was changed. 😂 However, I sincerely think it's a beautiful composition to be sung. And this is to tell you that I can sing the anthem at any of your functions 😁: Sports Events, Independence Day Celebration, Church programs on behalf of the nation.

SUSTAIN I had a crazy December, hopping from one Christian activity to the next - worship meetings, conferences, retreats, and prayer meetings. But as I was heading home after the new year began, I felt this sudden urge to go for another 3-day personal retreat. And then I heard a clear 'NO'. I double-checked to make sure it wasn't just the next passenger in the vehicle . I wanted to be sure it was God speaking. The 'No' wasn't a rejection, but a redirection. I realized I was trying to crame a whole year's worth of prayer into one month. God said, 'That's not how it should be.' I wanted to do it all in January, but He wanted me to understand that effectual prayer is consistent, not a one-time thing. It's not about feeling pumped up in January, only to fizzle out in February. It takes the EFFECTUAL prayer to AVAIL MUCH. The sowing of the seed alone doesn't make up a fruit. Constant watering brings it into maturity. #No photosynthesis, no maturity. #No nurturing, no fruit. The place of nurturing is the place of constant prayers without ceasing. Your energetic January plus your tired February to December may not produce the fruit. People show up with so much energy in January, but is it sustained? Sustain from start to finish, my dear 💕."
