PERFORMANCE PROJECT DISSENT - Choreographic Practices of Resistance with Davide Troiani @davide_t_ 13.04.-20.05.2026 DISSENT - Choreographic Practices of Resistance is a performative project that investigates dissent as a creative, physical, and political force of the body. Within a choreographic context, dissent is understood as a conscious choice not to comply, to deviate, and to generate friction. Through somatic practices, composition, and Improvisation research, the project explores how the body can articulate disagreement, tension, and ambiguity, questioning norms, expectations, and hierarchies of movement. Particular attention is given to presence, exploring how focus, timing and awareness shape the way movement is perceived and communicated. The work grows from listening to both the individual and the group, and from the relationship between adapting and choosing one’s own way. Participants are invited to explore dissent as choreographic material through a shared research process, allowing movement to emerge from fragility, diversity and personal bodily experience.
