For the longest time, marriage never fully resonated with me.
Something about committing your entire life to another imperfect human always felt a little unsettling. Especially in a world where so much is temporary.
But the more Iāve grown in my faith, the more Iāve realized biblical marriage was never supposed to just be about two people committing to each other.
Itās really two people committing to put God first.
That changed everything for me.
Because when both people are focused on honoring God, surrendering their pride, ego, desires, & selfishness to Him firstā¦ the relationship becomes built on something way deeper than feelings.
Feelings change. Life gets hard. People fail each other. But a relationship rooted in Christ has a foundation stronger than emotion.

Had such a wonder full SONday with my boys! We explored a new local park. Love how much they appreciate nature, animals, & being outdoors.
