Last full day in #Reykjavík, #Iceland. Taking in some stunning views and local flavor, just to savor every last minute of this incredible trip. What a night! So many incredible performances by the artists who took our #unscriptedtheatre #workshops and #intensive, The Alchemy of Two, this week! It was such a joy to see them, shine and take their maiden voyage into unscripted theatre! And then it was time for a once in a lifetime #performance of our signature show from @carpedmimprov , UNDERTONE! The night was absolute magic, with @dabbitogga providing accompaniment on guitar, and knowing all the right notes to hit and when to hit them. All three of us were playing completely out of our skin, in what was a transformational experience. Even better was sharing it with all of the witnesses in the audience, who went on the ride with us! Oh, and did I mention Yoda! We have one more day left here in #Iceland, but are already excited about where we’ll be headed to next! Stay tuned! Day seven here in Iceland, and it was a workday, getting ready for the big weekend with an unscripted theatre intensive, student performances, and a featured performance of UNDERTONE! So to celebrate that, I figured it was a good time to go back in time to two weeks ago in #Austin, Texas, where I was brought in to do a #train-the-trainer #improv #workshop for the instructors at @hideouttheatre . As a theater owner and head of education, I’ve spent over 25 years of my career training instructors, and this was a really fun, deep dive into the pedagogy of teaching #improvisation. Also in the flashback machine, an incredibly fun performance with my hermanas and hermanos in @escandaloimprov !
