It was great fun.
Lots of work, great crowds, return to cities I hadn’t been to in many years.
Thank you everyone who came out and thank you City Winery ! Consistently great venues. Looking forward to a good summer for all - end of war ??? Time to grow.

I like to surprise myself on my birthday. This April, I made no plans—until I did. Spontaneously, I followed a feeling to the Marche region in Italy, where we manufacture. I had never been, didn’t know what to expect, and that was the point. I got on a plane with David. We booked a hotel, found a driver, and let it unfold. Beautiful dinners, local food and wine, the landscape, the factory visit—seeing something we’ve been building take shape coming very soon. On the way back, we spent a night in Rome. We had the best time, and then home to New York. Sometimes the best celebrations are the ones you don’t plan at all.
Wednesday night I had the great opportunity to play at a packed Boston City Winery . It was a great night for me as I haven’t played there in a few years . Got to hear the Boston audience sing out loud on songs that were recognized and really had a heartwarming experience for me . Thank you to all who came .
Then… early morning on Thursday before departing I visited the 4th to 8th graders at the Newton Solomon Schechter school and spoke some about my life and answered a few questions to the wonderful students and staff . Finished off with Yihye Tov and Re’amim Y’vrakim …. It was great fun and inspiring . Thank you again !!!! YIHYE TOV !!!

Singing a song I grew up on, while standing there beside the song that found its way onto country radio here in America.
For a second, I thought about the kid I used to be, and the man I am today.
Truth is, we’re not that different.
Same dreams.
Same love for music.
Same heart still chasing something bigger than itself.
I haven’t visited Nashville in quite a long time - but this morning I met the very special incredible Eric Dahl of the Rock & Review and I can feel the Nashville skyline hitting me right away.
