New Forest Jazz and Arts presents sublime quality contemporary jazz with the exciting and versatile Martin Pyne and his piano and bass trio. Percussionist, composer and improviser who has worked extensively with many ensembles, dancers and silent film at the Barbican, London Martin Pyne is garnering great interest nationally with his latest album Furrow released earlier this year on Discus Music and described by critics as …’a small masterpiece’…. He is joined by the brilliant, in-demand pianist David Beebee and well-respected bassist Marianne Whindham, founder and driving force behind Guildford Jazz.
