Mono Lab 2.0 is in the App Store with 3D distortion at your finger tips. @monolabapp now with 100+ filters as well. It’s a fun way to play with images and ideate in black and white. This was created and inspired watching my son, Xavier, make zines by hand. 🖤 (link in bio)
Spent the day with old friends and new, surrounded by stories rooted in community and humanity. Grateful lately for connection, for people, and for the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. So much love: @ctzn_caine , @_randierica , and @jamesjs8723 (First photo @eric_sow )
Tattooers! I rarely post for tattooers, but 20 years in and I wanna give back a little. I made a really niche tool I feel is helpful… it’s called Undertone Tuner. We often try to visually remove the redness or inflammation of a fresh black and grey tattoo so we can see how values look. But in doing so we usually change the color of a person’s skin.
I created a free tool that lets you sample a person’s undertone by choosing “healthy” skin. It then analyzes the pixels you painted and calculates the average color of the “healthy” skin in a color format called Lab - which is designed to separate color from brightness, making it very accurate for skin tone detection.
The app goes through every pixel in the photo and looks for areas that are redder than the “healthy” skin baseline. Those reddened pixels get shifted back toward the natural tone. It honors every skin color.
It’s free for iPhone and iPad. (Link in bio)
Waxflowers, limonium, benzoil, elm, hairgrass, and golden rain tree for Alfi. An elegant tattoo combination integrated with top surgery scars. Thank you @prettypressedbyjes
Noriko wanted a peony and chrysanthemum with movement from drifting ginkgo leaves. They remind her of where she grew up in Japan. Thank you for traveling in and for trusting me! (This post mastectomy tattoo was donated to her by the wonderful folks over at @prairie.cann 💚)
