Been doing this nonsense for just over a month now and I actually am starting to admit I enjoy it. So… David Thorp, coming to a pub basement near you?
Throwback to the first gig at @untitled_comedy__ Thanks for giving me my first shot, and subsequently causing this possibly self destructive new hobby.
Feed posts. It’s been a while. Enjoy these highlights from the last god knows how many months. Highlights include: Seeing Friends. Seeing Friends Get Married. Manu being grumpy. Polser nearly getting blown away. Finally starting to do Stand-Up comedy. Doing a big shrug and being chased by a goose.
What a day, in the best city surrounded by the best people. Hearing that everyone is doing well after such a horrific incident has brought some joy back to what was such an incredible event. It was the best and the worst of a day that summed up how Liverpool as a city will always be special, no matter what. In celebration, or in crisis, there’s nowhere else like it.
Extra bonus for the most Scouse conversation I ever heard whilst leaving this morning
‘Y’alright kid’
‘Alright Tone yeah not bad mate you?’
‘Yeah sound mate. See what went on yesterday?’
‘Yeah mate’
‘Grim wannit’
‘Yeah mate’
‘Stay safe lad!’
Remember July? It was like 1997. England in Euros final. Ousting the Tories. Robbie Williams at Hyde Park. Such a lovely month it took me nearly a whole month to process it and I’m finally post my July Dump. What will the August dump bring? You’ll probably find out in January.
June. Busy old month. Went to Shrek’s Adventure. Met Shrek. I realise there’s no photos of Shrek. You’ll just have to believe me.
Oh also I moved house which was a bit mad.
May Dump. Last month in Canonbury. So of course we were hardly home.
Highlights: ‘Sunny’ Greece. General silliness. Taking @alilmillar ’s kids on their first rollercoaster. Actually Sunny Greece. A cat called Carroto who tried to steal my food.
Greece: Our first ever holiday that involved doing absolutely nothing. Here’s some of the nice bits. Not included are the bits where it got insanely cold and stormy, leading us to be stuck in a tacky beach resort, truly testing the limits of doing absolutely nothing to the point we both nearly went mad. I’ll save those moments for the May Dump.
