Not every fake photo is AI. Sometimes the location is real, the people are real, and the destruction is real, but the scene itself has been arranged to tell a specific story.
That is exactly what photojournalism is supposed to avoid. Reuters’ own standards say photographers must not stage scenes, move objects, or direct subjects. So if staged Gaza images are being sold as spontaneous news photography,@reuters needs to explain why its own rules are not being enforced. @honestreporting
