Throwback for today's #saturdaysynth . Back in the 90s the pinnacle of home studios was the "workstation" - a synth, sequencer, and sample playback all-in-one keyboard. Even better if you got one with a full weighted keyboard. The #ensoniq TS12 was their flagship monster which loads ASR10 samples and uses their unique transwave technology. I've moved mine down to the practice studio to get more use out of it and it's still a joy to play 🤓 #synthesizer #workstation #synth

I have always been a huge King Missle and @john_s_hall fan. In the 90s when they signed to Atlantic records I went to see them and at the end of the show John came out on stage and said now that they were on a major label they had less money than before and needed a place to stay. He also offered to autograph promo shots of other acts he took from their office. The entire band crashed at my one bedroom apt on Pine St and the next day I got this picture as I headed off to work. The autographed Bowie/Belew is proudly mounted in my music studio to this day 🤓. John is performing this sat with @rodneylinderman channelling Heinrich. Come on out, You don't want to miss it 🤘
