Davey Resource Group (DRG) and the North St. Louis office planted two blackgum trees at @themuny . These trees were planted as part of the tornado recovery efforts following the May 2025 tornado that impacted the region.
We've partnered with The Muny on past projects. In 2017, DRG assessed a historic bur oak in The Muny's stage area and found severe root decay. The collaboration led to the installation of silva cells and large trees, which are planted in the middle of The Muny Stage.
DRG later advised on general tree care, including emerald ash borer (EAB) management and storm response, including the high level of destruction following the 2025 tornado. In 2022, the partnership evolved to include advising The Muny's staff on general tree care across the roughly 12 acres of property leased from the city of St. Louis. These additional tree care measures were performed in partnership with Davey's local Residential/Commercial operations. The Muny continues to be a great partner in the St Louis area.

Davey ranked second on @lawnlandscape magazine's Top 100 list for 2026! The rankings are based on 2025 revenue from landscape profit centers. Davey maintained its ranking from 2025.
We wouldn't have received this recognition without our TREEmendous employees living our mission, vision and values every day. Congratulations to all of our employees on this achievement! 👏🎉
States in the South have been experiencing drought conditions. In this @wcnctv segment, Davey's Matt Betz explains how drought conditions negatively affect trees, signs your trees are affected and steps you can take.
A mother's love is a lot like a great tree. It's deeply rooted, always there for shelter and only grows stronger with time. Happy Mother's Day to mothers everywhere. 💚🌳
💚🌳May is Mental Health Awareness Month.💚🌳
Trees offer a range of benefits, including reduced stress, improved focus and a boost in overall well-being.
In this @weathernation segment, Davey's Madison Law explains how trees and nature support our mental health.
This might look like a photograph, but it's actually a hand-painted glass lantern slide created by Mary, the wife of James A.G. Davey, one of John Davey's four sons. In the Davey archives at the SEED (Science, Employee Education and Development) Campus, there are a total of 2,000 glass lantern slides. Many are photographs, but several were hand-painted by Mary with striking precision.
Stay tuned! We'll be featuring more unique slides in the future.
Congratulations to the @penguins on their season and making it to the playoffs! Their season may have concluded, but their community impact has not. We're excited to share that 153 "Score for the Trees" will be added to Pittsburgh's canopy as a result of their efforts this season!🌳🏒 🥅
Great job, Penguins! We can't wait for next year.🐧
This elegant weeping Higan cherry, Prunus x subhirtella ’Pendula’, resides in Washington, D.C. Known for its stunning ornamental beauty, a weeping Higan cherry is a marvel to behold, especially in spring.
This tree’s umbrella-like foliage of pink and white blossoms drapes over this Davey client’s property with grace. Weeping Higan cherries can grow up to 30 feet tall and have a lifespan of 30 to 40 years.
Davey’s Washington, D.C. office has cared for this property's trees for 10 years.
Happy @cleinspires Month! Thirty "Swing for the Trees" trees found their new homes on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Cleveland. Davey employees, alongside volunteers from the @cleguardians and @wrlconservancy , planted these trees along the street.
Davey is proud to partner with the Guardians for the "Swing for the Trees" program, where one tree is planted in Cleveland for every home run hit at home or away games by a Guardians player. This means more home runs ⚾ = more 🌳's for Cleveland's tree canopy!
We hope the community benefits from these new trees!🌳
