Yesterday was a killer day! Went up some fun climbs, did some spicy leads with little protection. Got lost on route, found new routes, DIDN’T GET SUNBURNED! It was a great day!

As we all get older and life inevitably gets busier, I think it’s so important to find time for these types of adventures. There’s nothing like hiking at dusk, sitting around a campfire with friends, climbing new routes, and being rewarded with some epic views.
As a climber or just a hiker, I highly recommend exploring Linville Gorge Wilderness. @fosseauxlions___ and I spent two days out there and couldn’t have had more fun. I’ll definitely be going back again soon! (Just maybe after the summer is over)

The best kind of weekend starts like this —
We rolled up to Table Rock the night before, just in time to catch the last light over the gorge. Campfire going, beers in hand, trading stories under a sky full of stars. No service, no distractions — just good company and the wild around us.
Morning came early, with coffee in cold hands and breakfast cooked over the open flame. Then we hit the trail, a 45-minute hike along a newly renovated trail with great views of the the Linville Gorge wilderness.
What followed? Ten full pitches of climbing. Exposure, adventure, and the kind of views that make your legs shake more than the crux. Still one of my favorites at Table Rock - “My Route” delivered — fun moves, bomber holds, and that final pitch looking out over miles of rolling green ridges.
Tired legs, but full hearts. These are the days we live for.

Unreal day out at Table Rock yesterday — It started off with a little overnight camping with the crew, followed by a day filled with perfect temps, solid stone, and nonstop views of Linville Gorge.
