1996 till now. I’ve been every shade of coward to ultra hero and back down again. The only “talent” I have is making pictures that some people think are worthy enough to purchase for me to make a living. I’m not some polished smart-ass piece of shit and have been fortunate to have some big body big brothers to lead the way for me. I’m far from perfect but grateful for what this graffiti journey has done for me over the last 26 years.
A friend in Columbus sets up the stages and fairgrounds for this week’s Sonic Temple and sent me footage of one of my insanely huge art towers and it felt great to see my art that large for one of the biggest music events in North America. I can’t wait to show so many people what I’m capable of creatively and create murals and compete alongside peers who are as art driven as myself. It’s a huge milestone for my career and I hope to see people there. I’m battling Thursday but painting walls around the venue all four days - so please say hello and share my posts about the event. Two legends and an aspiring young tattoo artist (with a daughter on the way) got together in 2010 and opened the doors to one of the most influential shops to exist in America, an institution to modern tattooing, and a pillar of excellence in not just Ohio… but for the rest of the world for world class heavyweight tattooing. Every artist who called this place home over the last 16 years excelled to the very top of the trade thanks to what was built by Scott and Cary. I’m grateful for them to take the chance and hire me as a young kid with ambition and fatherhood on the horizon. Their faith in me is how I was able to develop myself and travel the world over the last two decades. They made me better and had faith in me and my direction and I owe them the world. Tonight - by pure coincidence - we reunited and it filled my heart with joy. Memento forever! OG3

Get Ready for Battle Booth at Hell City Phoenix & Columbus 2026! Our Friday Battle is between Ty Vs Adam in the Tattoo Battle Booth inside the Hell City ballroom. The Tattoo Battle Booth At Hell City Tattoo Festival 2026 is a resurrection of head to head tattoo competitions returning to Hell City. The last time this format was at Hell City was Guy Aitchison VS Aaron Cain during the “Tattoo Wars” TLC television series that filmed at Hell City in 2007. Now, Hell City is adding their own modern spin, pitting two different artists against each other every day with different styles to see who takes the “Battle Booth Trophy” home.
The voting will take place at this year’s Hell City Tattoo Festival with the audience casting their votes for their favorite tattoo that was done in the Battle Booth and essentially crowning the tattoo Battle Booth Winner that day at Hell City 2026 in both Phoenix, Arizona as well as Columbus, Ohio.
