We finally made it to @thesaucycup in Wayne. There was a line, we waited, and it’s totally worth the wait.
We got coffee and it was excellent. Dave had the Rise and Shine breakfast wrap. I had the avocado toast. We shared a ✨COFFEE CROISSANT DONUT✨ and it was astronomical.
Dave also got a Sam’s Club to have for dinner at the studio. We highly recommend this place.
Limited outdoor seating, order at the window. Credit cards accepted. Closed Tuesday.

If you haven’t had a spudnut cheesesteak from Verrilli’s, you haven’t lived. You read that right. It’s a spudnut cheesesteak and it’s INSANE.
The spudnut is like a soft delicious bread (only as sweet as a potato roll), the steak is thin sliced, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the onions and peppers? Wowza.

The oldest diner in New Jersey has the absolute best vibes, and the food is fabulous.
Walking into the Summit Diner is like taking a step back in time, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s CASH ONLY, it’s small, and the service is incredible.
When @usatoday voted on the best diners in the country and only chose ONE from NJ, well, we laughed. But also, SERIOUSLY?!?
Diners are the fabric of our state, so we’re gonna start taking you with us when we visit them. Our first stop was this diner, and it’s one of a kind.

The Res. Is it in Boonton or is it in Parsippany? It’s been claimed by both, with some saying the mailing address is different than the town it’s actually located in. That IS TRUE for many of the homes in that area so it’s a fair argument. Who really knows? 🤷♂️
@reservoirtavern is a classic, an institution, since 1936. You gotta go, and you absolutely must get the pizza, and the toasties, and the long hots, and the sausage and peppers and… well, you get the picture. Just go.
Oh, and if you like to eat at the bar, it’s truly an incredible experience. Everyone talks to each other and it’s really a fun time
