Let’s Both Try follows Alice and Tommy, a young married couple of photographers whose love and faith are tested when Tommy embarks on a nude photography project. In response, Alice chooses to pose nude for another photographer, setting off a series of events that forces them to confront their deepest desires and insecurities.
As they navigate societal norms, personal boundaries, and evolving desires, Let’s Both Try introduces a couple rarely depicted on screen—devoted to their faith yet unapologetically sexual and explorative.

Fun story - On a whim, I bought 1200ft of 16mm 250D last year and told DP @jaredbedrejo that I wanted to shoot a montage lifestyle film. Jared more or less told me “Dude. That’s a cop-out. Just write a narrative! Also, I have a rifle we can use.”
So I listened to his advice and wrote this ridiculous short film about a young couple trying to shoot rabbits in the desert. And of course… stuff gets very, very weird.
