🍎🌼💫 Lots of amazing people, plants, food and activities from 12-5 on Saturday and Sunday! I'll be doing a workshop from 1:30-3 on Sunday that will focus on empowering people to feel more confident when they handle, prepare and care for seeds, starts, soil and shrubs. Mixing soil to proper ratios, dealing with a super root bound potted plant, how to gently and efficiently remove plugs and starts from pots snd trays; all of these small skills and more can add up to embolden your gardening and develop great relationships with your plants!

First garden install of the season in the BAG! Big thanks to @mk.ultramatic for the work and helping out along the way. If you have a garden project in mind and want to hone your skills to feel empowered to diy more then BAGS is the place for you! 🌱🌻🌞 For this garden we used the Northeast Native Meadow Mix from @hudsonvalleyseedco as well as their Spotted Bee Balm for the first succession. Bachelor’s Buttons, Borage and more to sew next month and the cedar edging was harvested in Clermont. Stoked to see how it turns out! 🤩🌼💫

Today we prepared the farm for Wassail which is a winter blessing of the apple trees and all the fruits in the orchard. We sing and celebrate life in a cold and dark time. Got to go foraging for materials with @justincassano and @madborn and be amongst friends and pines 🌲 And I split a wiffle ball? 🫠
