So if you're new here & only watched this journey, let me start by saying. This is the second time in my life i've had to fight to get my weight down. 9 years ago I did a similar thing & managed to go from 24st - 16st, but losing my Step Dad (my Dad) in 2020 put me in a position where I gave up on my own health. Until I turned 40 years of age! Then the fear of being 40 kicked in, I had my NHS 'MOT' on myself to find i was a severe risk of Heart Attack and Diebeties, being a Dad myself of 2 beautiful girls I absolutly did not want to die. Roll forward to today & this is why I am here. That coupled with misdiagnosis of Depression & realising I have ADHD. I need routine & structure to function. Which is why I am able train daily & this has worked.
Today I reached what was my Initial goal I set out for myself, something I have doubted I could do & or ever reach! 9 years ago I was 16st (224lbs or 101kgs) & ran every day! Today I train a 5 day routine on weights & cardio (30 minutes daily) & absolutely feel like i am in the best shape I have ever been in!
I started this journey at 28st 11lbs (403lbs, 184kgs) today I weighed in at 16st 6lbs (230lbs or 104kgs).
This hasn't been easy at all, I have limited my calorie in take and train EVERYDAY. Legit not had a day off from the gym or some sort of exercise for nearly 9 weeks! But have you ever been in a race, suddenly near the end you find this beast in you & you sprint to the end! Basically that is me right now, i have absolutly enjoyed this. I will be changing that target and pushing in again!
I have started something special with @jdgyms ms and @npk_media where they are following me for a year for an advert campaign for release in Janaury 2027. You best believe that this right now is not the end! I am determined to be leaner, bigger, stronger & in peak condition! If this transformation is anything to go by i absolutely will be exceeding my expectations on this!
I am mid way doing my Level 2 & Level 3 with @gymcert.academy & @theengineroom_collective & this is just the start!
I hope sharing this inspires those who ever felt like me, full of anxiety, unable to walk & crippling lack of confidence. This is for you!

In this series of photo's is things I hope inspire you! Cause I did not want to share the last picture but why not own it!
Today i weighed myself and i felt so emotional. Not once did I feel like i'd ever reach such a mile stone! I am 10st, 64kgs or a 140lbs down in body weight since joining the gym and I regret now not taking more photo's of myself back at my highest weight. The first photo I did take was when I joined JD Gyms and weighed myself already 2 months in to being healthier and realised i'd lost 3st. So I figured i should try document this for the future me to look back at. Not ever wanting to share it or it even being seen! But again why not own this cause i am so proud of how i look now! I'm not there yet but realistically I have 2/3st to lose, at my lightest as a runner i was 16st. I want to be more of a body builder physique this time so naturally I will weigh more. But I am still so dyermed to get there! Yes my body now isnt perfect but I think I look boss for where i started!
The next step...... i've obviously broken my toe at the moment. I'm sure you all know by now, I managed to drop a 20kg plate off a leg press and boke my big toe in 2 places. The pain has been unreal, I spent 2 days in tears from the pain! Legit made me feel sick and couldn't sleep. Once I finally slept i managed to wake up and on day 3 I decided to not let it hold me back. I've had to learn some new ways of training, including dropping Cardio for a few weeks but today is day 7 and i've trained 5x since and feel amazing for it! I will not let this hold me back because the things coming up are huge and I can't wait to be able to tell you all about it. But let me say this, soon I will only be training in one Gym and you're gonna get to see alot more of me training and it won't be recorded by me! 💪🏻

Here is 10 videos of a lil mix of things I train on my Full Body Workout. I tend to do 2 of each muscle group then my standard 40 minutes cardio, using a Cross Trainer on Max Level or close to, I actually did it on Level 22 of 25 today. As I was a bit done in!
I have learned so much during the last 11 months, officially losing 13st or 83kgs in body weight. Its not been the easiest journey and the destination wont ever be reached! As i am always changing my goals and my target. When I started this I never once felt I would be where I am right now.
Being in Adverts for JD Gyms which was released January 2026 and now being part of another that will be released in January 2027. The chance to inspire and tell my story is something I am very proud of!
Soon it will be a year since I joined a gym and I can honestly say its been the best thing I ever chose to do. Put myself, my physical and mental health first because we all want to live forever! Ultimately my aim and my goal was to better myself and put years on my life. Which i can honestly say I have done exactly that!
Thank You to all those who gave me courage, energy and believed in me. Specially when I doubted myself...... and still do!

As the turn of the year I had managed to remove 8 stone of excess body weight. I weighed 20st 12lbs. As we approach the end of April I now weigh 15st 13lbs. Just a single lb away from losing a total 13 stone in Body Weight, or 87kgs. Which is basically a person!
I have a 5 day routine, I train the same routine on repeat over 6 days, recently adding Saturday as my day off from the gym. (Which i still find hard, as I just want to train).
If you're anything like me then you know routine is perfect. Reputation, belief and determination.
I am still limiting calories, still dieting but all with the aim of being as lean as possible!
My new target is to reach 15st, a weight i have not touched since I was 20 years old! 💪🏻🏋♀️ as a 41 year old man, I absolutly believe in setting new goals and rasing to new heights! 👊🏻

Full Back Session today @jdgyms Chester, this is all my peak lifts including the fails! I added a few more Biceps and Triceps at the end but didnt record all of that as its pretty much the same movement.
I am currently 6lbs away from losing 13st since June 2025, keeping consistent, training even when I dont want to and getting it done with a calorie deficit diet. Actually looking forward to eating to build muscle! The next step in my training is soon and I can't wait!
A full week routine finished @jdgyms in Chester. Full 5 day routine, Legs, Chest, Back, Shoulders and Full Body! Each day I end with biceps or triceps just dependant on how it fits the routine for the following day. I do minimum of 30 minutes intense cardio every day! 👊🏻👌🏻💪🏻🦵🏻
