It’s bad enough that my truck gets dive-bombed the day after I spent two hours cleaning it up, but this is ridiculous! This ain’t no sparrow or cardinal! We must have a pterodactyl flying around in Colonial Place!!
A few years ago I was introduced to a Peppered Mule (or Spicy Mule), which due to my love of peppers, became one of my favorite drinks. Now, off the shelf peppered vodka doesn’t have much of a kick, so I make my own. Chopped Tabasco peppers, and a fresh liter of Smirnoff. Add the peppers to the bottle, and let it set for a day or two. Use a very fine strainer to remove seeds and any small pieces of pepper and voila! Oddly, the red Tabasco’s turn the vodka a pale green. Just add a shot of vodka to a bottle of Reed’s Extra ginger beer. It’s a kicker!!
Thoroughly enjoyed my buddy Jasmine’s stay in Norfolk last week!! A highlight was bustin’ into Sid’s place one morning and chatting with Smeers for a couple of hours!! Once you get the old guy talking, you can’t stop him!!
Well, the old slalom ski looks like it held up much better than expected in that hot/cold garage since COVID struck. Now it’s time to see if my old ass can still ski!! Mike, Cristin, and Eric… y’all remember how to pull a skier?!
