Had a trip to the Florida keys last month with my #1 best one to celebrate our engagement. It was an amazing adventure with the most incredible adventure partner I could ever ask for. We drove to Key West, did some hikes, rode bikes as much as we could and packed in as many tourist things as possible in 4 days. Then we got to drive all the way home thanks to a good old NJ snow storm. Thanks for being my one Nena Slifer! You make everything better. ❤️
I found the footage! It was buried deep in some boxes and stashed away in a dark basement at a mansion estate sale. When I found the film reel, it was a mess, so I baked it in the oven on low for six and a half hours and then had to restore it to its full quality by hiring a guy overseas.
Just kidding. Forgot we captured the take and was cleaning out my drive.

Adirondack Americana. Really hoping to pull off a tour one day where we just go with this vibe. Benches. Adirondack chairs. Front and back porch feels. Certain sunny days remind you of other certain sunny days and today, on this sunny day (not NJ), I’m reminded of this lil blue trailer in #atx with some WidelyGrown fellers. Insanely beautiful March day with cold light beers flowing off camera. And this day makes me think about high school days of skipping the final two classes after lunch to play guitars and enjoy the sun instead of a depressing cavern of chalk and lectures. Austin to Boston is a staple in our set though it was recorded as a solo effort before the pandemic. Much love!
What can I really say about Tuesday night? It was kinda surreal really. I’m super grateful to have been on stage with such an incredible group of musicians for such an impactful event. The energy and emotion both in the room and on the stage was something very different…VERY special. We honored a legend and it was received on such a higher level than I could have imagined. The spirit of Bob and the Dead was most certainly in that room.
