1st AC POV
Photos from the production of the feature film, Autumn Air, written and directed @johnlimogesfilm
Filmed beneath a golden canopy of Tower Grove foliage, John wrote and directed a timeless film that pays homage to St. Louis while capturing the essence of being twenty-something. The striving for a life with meaning; the desperate escape from a path towards mediocrity; the balance of pursuing both art and family; and the fleeting, bittersweet type of romance that unfolds in the temporary spaces between where you were and where you're heading.
It was an honor to support John's vision and equally as big of an honor to 1st for @rickieross5 on his first feature film as DP. Rickie killed it, producing a gorgeous image while moving with that focused, easy-going energy that reverberated throughout set. Couldn't feel more fortunate to have teamed up with this guy over the last couple of years.
Give me this entire cast and crew any day, in fact.

A little BTS from set — no spoilers, just the good faces of some talented, hardworking individuals that I’ve had the privilege of working alongside this past year. A few commercial spots, a couple unreleased features, and a handful of short films — two of which you can catch at @stlfilmfest this weekend. Check out Wet Hands, written and directed by @lclaudin , and Disposal, written and directed by @scottwisdom1217 . Grateful for these opportunities. Can’t wait for more of these projects to hit screens.
A reel for 2025 of still and motion imagery, shot and edited by Dave Bour. A mixture of works old and new with emphasis on documentary, portraiture, and the palette of natural light. This cut is bookended by clips from the documentary feature NIGHTLIFE, a film that's a few years old but holds a special place in my heart. Aerial shots for this project captured by the great @kalilmedia . I've always taken pride in working to capture the small human moments that only happen once. I hope some of that can be felt here; in addition to the places I've been, the company I keep, and the commercial work that I've been fortunate enough to help produce, shoot, edit, and occasionally direct.
