Maybe the whole tour was destined to go smoothly from the very first day of good weather. Aside from the exhaustion of traveling, there was barely a single truly frustrating moment throughout those two weeks. Every schedule somehow unfolded exactly as planned, and every soundcheck the band did felt absurdly efficient â like watching high-level players casually speedrun a beginner zone in an online game. By the end of it, finishing the tour didnât really feel like âfinishing work.â It felt more like waking up from a very long holiday.

I captured a pair of strangers on a mountaintop.
After the shot, I walked over to talk to them and offer the photoâ
only to find them silently crying when they turned around.
