For the past 7+ years, Texture has been a night of spatial & musical exploration in Detroit; adventurous lineups paired with the forward thinking light works of Patrick Ethen. Starting a record label was the next natural step in our evolution, creating a platform to showcase the work of friends and artists who’ve frequented the party over the years.
There’s no better way we could launch the label than with long time friend and party regular, @dataplan.et . The Berlin-via-Montreal artist delivers her debut EP “Late to the Party, Start Without Me” with 5 psychedelic cuts ranging from bass-heavy electro trips to crystalline early morning dancefloor groovers.
Whatever was in the water when she was making these trax, we definitely want a sip.
