Playing for the @chicago_emc and @windycitywavs collab discussion @spybar with @daniorizabamusic was some of the most fun I’ve had DJing in a long time. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous because the room was packed. But a packed room means that Chicago is really motivated to learn, connect, protect their health on the dancefloor and continue to build the scene.

I haven’t posted anything for a while but wanted to take a second to say hi and also thank you to everyone that has supported me, booked me, commiserated with me, chilled with me, partied with me etc etc etc this crazy summer. It hasn’t been an easy one politically/community-wise but it’s a good reminder of why music is important and why we need to work together to build our own sense of family and safety.
I’m traveling for work (which I know is a huge privilege in these times) until the middle of October which so far has given me some time and space to refresh and think about the direction I want to take when I get back. The tentative plan is winter hibernation with a deeper dive into production. I’m also going to play with vinyl a little bit just to reiterate to myself that I am, in fact, a real DJ (in case anyone was concerned about this) and I might dip a toe into live-streaming/recorded sets just to catalog what I’m listening to lately.
Until then, ciao from Italy, I’m eating hella everything (for my health of course)
