To guide you along in this short film. We go through our everyday struggles, and sometimes with trauma or certain locked up emotions. Little things can make that all feel so heightened that it sends you into this abyss of a mindset. In that abyss you feel alone, it can feel dark. Fighting off the ones who are actually around to help you, then fighting your demons on your own… but then To be still and silent on the outside but feel like waves are crashing on the inside can be a beautiful thing, it pushes you to either sink with the waves or stand up and walk back to shore even after being tossed around. Little do you know when you get back to shore (reality) you had people there all along. You can take a deep breathe, remember you are not alone & that you are loved by people in this world.

Now why I created this…. It’s my apology to anyone I fought off of me that was trying to help. I over explain just to try and tell people how I feel, and it’s come out as word vomit or a projection of hurt to those just wanting to be there. I feel I’ve spent my life over explaining myself and for once I wanted to let the visual explain that I have came from darkness, I truly survived with the help of the ones around me & when I say that… I mean it.

@erinpeyrani , from all the planning and sit downs we had to make this come to life you saw me trying to navigate what just a feeling was & I’m grateful for you. Your videography & editing is one I cannot match, but am so honored to be able to show everyone how amazing you are. - Daniel, thank you for bringing my emotion to the screen and diving into a vulnerable character to truly exert my emotions and mind to the screen. Gen, Asabi & Chuy, y’all let me tell my story with no judgement and listened to what I needed only to beautifully execute this vision. I chose yall because everyone knows you four come with a warm embrace and a light that makes people feel comforted & loved and honored you all agreed to be apart of helping my vision come to life~
