soo… I WROTE A BOOK 🥹📖🤍 (the link is in my bio to pre-order) this has been SOOO long in the making - not only the past 6 months or writing it but since my first solo trip back in 2019 and first drafts in 2021 when I first came up with the idea to start documenting my solo adventures… But somewhere along the way it changed from being a memoir about my solo adventures and more of a guide to help more people enjoy theirs… I’ve loved seeing solo travel become more embraced and celebrated over the years but I know so many people have fears or anxieties around it. I wrote a book! This still feels wild to put out there, but over the last year I’ve been working on Around the World in 80 Sews 🪡📖🌍🗺️ One of my favourite things about sewing has been talking to so many people across the world and learning about their sewing: what they make, why they make it, but most importantly, celebrating sewing techniques connected to where they are from! So often we focus on what we make, but how we make it is just as important! Techniques are shared, adapted and used in so many different ways across the world. I wanted to put some of that in a book where we can celebrate them and learn from them.
