drawing people who inspire me. part 6 is dedicated to Vanya (@vanyareviaka ) 📸📸 it’s funny how we met completely by chance and from the very first time it just clicked. there was no awkwardness, no trying too hard. it just felt easy and natural, like we’d known each other longer than we actually had. i’m really glad that our paths crossed. meeting you feels like one of those moments that actually matter because i know i can learn from you and grow just by being around you. you’re not just a photographer. you have your own way of seeing things, and it shows in everything you do. you pay attention to details, to people, to meaning and that’s rare. you’re always moving, traveling, trying new things, and somehow you’re good at everything you touch. it’s honestly impressive. i’m really happy i got to meet you — not by plan, but exactly when it was supposed to happen.

Pablo Picasso was one of the most influential artists in modern history, but he was also deeply connected to the cultural world around him. He personally knew and collaborated with figures such as Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Coco Chanel, Igor Stravinsky, and Jean Cocteau. Picasso lived through both World Wars, major political changes, and the rapid transformation of art in the 20th century. His work extended beyond painting into sculpture, ceramics, theater, and design, making him a central figure in shaping modern visual culture. Yet despite how present his influence still is today, it often feels strange to remember that he was a real person who lived in a world not as distant as we imagine. For many, Picasso seems like someone from a far older era, almost disconnected from modern reality, which makes seeing him in color footage feel unexpectedly surreal.

📸 drawing people who inspire me. part 5 is dedicated to Mikita (@nik.miller ) i’ve been thinking about you a lot lately and about how grateful i am that we met. we’ve known each other for almost five years now. we met online, and then two years ago, when i moved to warsaw, we finally met in person. i still remember that time — new city, new life, a lot of changes and somehow it felt very natural and easy with you from the very beginning. you’re an amazing tattoo artist. i really admire how seriously and thoughtfully you approach your work. you care about the details, about the person, about the meaning behind every tattoo. it’s not just a drawing for you — it’s something important. and of course, matcha had to be in this illustration. it’s such a big part of you that it just made sense. but the most important thing is that you’re an incredible friend. i have this constant feeling that you’re the kind of person who will always reach out a hand in a difficult situation. someone reliable. someone steady. someone you can truly count on. i’m very grateful for you. for our friendship. for your openness and for the kind of person you are. and yes — if you’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo, go to Mikita!! you’ll be in very good hands.

hello people! somehow very unexpectedly and quickly, we created three illustrations specifically for flower care instructions from @bulb.warsaw to see what the instructions look like – order flowers and enjoy the beauty! 🪻📍 /// thank you @uvarov_ivan @bulb.warsaw

drawing people who inspire me. this 4th piece is about @uvarov_ivan and @mikitakunitsky 📍 today i stopped by their pop-up and it reminded me how powerful simple, well-made things can be. Ivan (@uvarov_ivan @bulb.warsaw ) works with flowers — arranging them in a way that feels natural and thoughtful at the same time. there’s something very calm in the way he builds compositions, paying attention to color, shape and space. Mikita (@mikitakunitsky ) works with jewelry — small objects made by hand that carry a lot of character. pieces that feel personal, carefully constructed and very much alive. seeing their work next to each other made me think about how different materials can still speak the same language. flowers that exist only for a moment, and jewelry that stays with someone for years — both created with patience, taste and intention. i’m really glad there are people who choose to spend their time making the world a little more beautiful 🌸

i once heard this phrase from my law professor and for some reason it stayed with me. maybe because it sounds simple, almost obvious but the longer i think about it, the more sense it makes. when we are hungry, our patience becomes shorter. when we are angry, our judgment becomes sharper but less fair. when we are lonely, we may choose people or paths just to fill the silence. when we are tired, everything starts to feel heavier than it really is. in those moments, the mind is not clear — it is reacting, not thinking. sometimes the best decision is not a decision at all, but a pause. eat something. sleep. step away from the situation. talk to someone. give your mind time to return to itself. because a choice made in exhaustion or emotion often solves the moment, but creates a problem for the future. so HALT is a small reminder: take care of your state before you take control of your decisions.
