“Time was not on our side. What was supposed to be a one-day shoot ended up stretching till the next day. The surgery room scene, which was filmed in a real hospital, was shot at 5:00 AM the next morning. Some of the actors also didn’t show up, so we had to use real-life surgeons in the hospital for that scene! I’m sure that was their first time performing a surgery on a shoe, so it was great fun for us all. Overall, I enjoyed the process!” - Fred Walker, director
