WHAT’S ON AT RASA THIS WEEKEND 🧠 Friday 24 April begins with a return to stillness. From 18:00 to 22:00, Ryan the Weatherman (@ryan.theweatherman ) presents ‘Channel: A Gentle Transition’- an invitation to shed the busyness of the city and gather barefoot for a deep listening session. 归于平静 (returning to stillness). Accompanied by slow-brewed tea, dreamy soundscapes will be guided by Murrr (@murrr.sic ), The Weatherman, and Thunder Tillman (@thundertillman ), allowing the room to collectively arrive home once more. As the clock strikes 22:30, the energy shifts from meditation to catharsis with Mando Hearts (@mandohearts.sg ), trading quiet reflection for a high-octane night of emotional singalongs and upbeat anthems. On Saturday 25 April, we celebrate a landmark: 15 Years in Motion with Darker Than Wax (@darkerthanwax ). What began as a local imprint has grown into a regional anchor, and we’re marking the milestone with a full-house takeover. The Floor belongs to co-founder Dean Chew (@funk_bstrd ) and Daryl Knows (@darylknows ) for an all-night session rooted in cosmic jazz and deep, off-centre house. If you know the Pals (@secret.pals ), you know it’s always about the music and the people they bring along with them. On Saturday 2 May, the crew returns to RASA for their biggest takeover yet—curating both the Hall and the Floor for the first time. They’re bringing in Inner Quiet (Roberto Seña, @rsenagram ), the Manila staple now based in Barcelona. Years ago, before the collective even started, it was a set by Seña at Moonstone that acted as one of the early sparks for the crew. It was one of those nights that made the path ahead feel possible, so having him back to headline a full-venue program is a massive full-circle moment. Inner Quiet is known for a playful kind of precision. Having anchored Manila’s nightlife for years before moving to Europe, he moves through dub techno, minimal, and progressive house with a fluid, global perspective. He’s recently been carving out his space in Barcelona with Subwax and Mund Radio, and we’re excited to have that energy back on our floor. We’re splitting the building into two worlds for the night: 🪩 The Floor: House in all its forms. What’s on at RASA this weekend 🎲 On Friday, 20 March, RASA hosts a meeting point between Southeast Asia’s underground and the wider global circuit with DOTT (@dott_th ) and Julie Marghilano (@juliemarghilano ). From DOTT’s bass-driven, hypnotic approach shaped through his own catalogue to Julie’s vinyl-led selections moving across house, techno and leftfield dance music, the night unfolds with depth and contrast. Daryl Knows (@darylknows ) opens, while in the Hall, Vinceshi (@vinceshi_ ) & Zai (@z4idj ) take over all night with groove-led, cross-genre selections. For over a decade, DOTT (@dott_th ) has been central to Thailand’s underground — as founder of More Rice, operator of the country’s first electronic-focused record store, and a producer known for bass-driven, hypnotic house and techno. Extended sets often draw exclusively from his own catalogue, reflecting a practice rooted in discipline and authorship. Joining him, Julie Marghilano (@juliemarghilano ) brings deep musical lineage and vinyl fluency to the booth. Founder of Sol Asylum Records and a fixture at festivals like Freerotation and Honcho, her selections move across house, techno, and leftfield dance music with care, context, and intention. Opening the night, Daryl Knows (@darylknows ) from Darker Than Wax sets the foundation with fluid, versatile, and always in conversation with the room.
