This is the Darkside Stage 1 BMW F-Series 35d / 40d Performance Hybrid Bi-Turbo Upgrade. This complete bi-turbo unit for the 3.0d N57Z engines used in the 35d / 40d F-Series BMW models is capable of producing up to 485bhp with supporting modifications.
This upgraded Darkside Hybrid Bi-Turbo, featuring a billet compressor wheel, has been tried and tested on our M4d (435d) project, where we achieved 440bhp on the stock fuelling system.

This A4 Estate came to us for some hardware upgrades and a tune and left with some respectable gains.
Once the Turbo & Induction kit were fitted, we took this A4 over to the dyno where we saw a delta gain of circa 61BHP and 160FtLbs of torque!

The regulars should recognise this Cayenne from our Maroc Challenge video where we took you through the build of David's Cayenne before he put it to the ultimate test through the harsh Moroccan Desert.
