Music is really cool. I enjoy almost every part of it, whether it's playing, writing, recording, editing, or mixing/mastering. This year, I did more tracking, and it's got me seriously thinking about building a pole barn style studio in my backyard so I can better track drums (basement ceiling isn't very tall). To all the bands I've worked with this year, thanks for trusting me with your art, and I'm excited to continue working with you guys. Today marks 1 year since Usurper dropped. I learned a lot about myself in the process of making this EP come to life, and it’s opened doors I never would have dreamt of since its release. I am truly thankful for everyone who has jammed it, purchased a copy, reviewed it, interviewed the band, etc. - it truly means the world to me. This is my first “official” musical release (despite 22+ years of playing guitar), and marks the end of the era of me being in my own way with creating the music that I want to make. I sincerely appreciate everyone who had a hand in bringing this from an idea in my home studio to reality. At the time this was getting fleshed out, I didn’t even have a consistent internet connection and that’s a whole can of worms for a project based on sharing files with people far away haha. This past year, I have worked harder than ever on growing my skills as a guitarist, songwriter, and composer with the end goal being to drop a full length follow-up to Usurper. While that vision remains and is being chipped away at steadily, I’ve also dove into a few projects with some monster musicians, which I am both stoked on and honored to be a part of. 2026 will bring the shred.🤘🏻 #techdeath #neoclassicaldeathmetal #shred #music

Demon King's LP, 'Death Knell' dropped yesterday. This album is awesome. I had the pleasure of doing some additional engineering on the drums for Sir Mike Low, who did a wonderful job on the Mix/Master.
