Happy birthday, you menace. You'd have had complicated feelings about this photo. Depending on the day, you'd probably thrive on the attention, but resist the fuss. Unless it was a make-a-fuss kind of day, then you might be into it. Most confidently, though, we think you'd love to be the reason these old friends got dressed up and went for dinner.
Everyone at this table misses you, and more besides. And I hope you don't mind that we still have your birthday. If we have to get older, so do you. You don't get out of it that easily.

This Wednesday and Thursday, we're changing it up with one of the biggest hits this side of the millennium.
Whether or not the sunshine keeps up, the warmth has given me a hankering (a Daddy Yankering?) for some smooth, stylish, Latin-inspired commercial.
PLEASE NOTE: This week's classes are on as usual (6th and 7th). The week after that, there will be only one class, on Wednesday 13th. There will be no class on Thursday the 14th - instead, I'll be singing and dancing at an incredible comedy concert night in Merchant City on the 14th and 15th that a bunch of you are already coming to (details and tickets available at the link in my bio).

MTV is a chance to throw shapes, break a sweat, and encourage each other. We focus on a short piece of choreography to a different song each week, and it's the perfect class to train your muscle memory, build how easily you learn choreo, and gain confidence. This class is a safe space, no matter your background or experience level. Beginners and newcomers are always welcome.

A HUGE THANK YOU...
...to everyone who was in my classes this week. The last two days of April deserved the most last-two-days-of-April choice ever, but some of it was tricky. Thank you to you all for your patience and hard-work in learning the original choreography to the chorus, with all the jumping and jumping and jumping.
Next week, something much smoother and much less intense, which I'll announce soon.

SPRING/SUMMER SEASON IN SESSION!
We're back to our regularly scheduled timetable this week, so your midweek MTV and MTV Replay return this Wednesday and Thursday.
MTV is open to people of all experience levels, and is a safe space for newcomers. We warm-up, we learn a new section of commercial-style choreography to a new song every week, and doing it perfectly isn't the goal. It's all about breaking a sweat, having a laugh, and getting a little more confident in the process. No dance-off vibes, just encouragement and support.

Thank you so much to this lot for coming to my one-off millennial movie session last week while regular classes were on break. These guys were powerhouses for learning this in such a short space of time. 😊 I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, even though I bit off more than I could chew in just an hour.
(There's so much of this routine, but if I posted a single bit more of this, I'm fairly certain I'd get struck without a track over it. 😔)
NEW SEASON!!!
MTV's back to normal next week, and we're kicking off the Spring/Summer season with this brand new, queer AF anthem. (I know we've gone a bit Gaga gaga recently, but this one couldn't wait.)
I've already started choreographing it, and godddddd it's so satisfying to dance to!
