Collaborating with @hypnotiquepresents to launch a new series at LAX called “Image.” The thesis is simple: we pick out a photo or frame from an art piece, tv show, film, fashion show, or any other media and curate a lineup based on what we perceive on the image to sound like. For the first installation we’re using this very frame from Terry Gilliam’s Brazil (1985) (watch the director’s cut not the theatrical cut) as a launch pad, and we’ve curated a lineup featuring @immortalnightbody@darkfantasy_la@hand_model@jopenga@weepingwillowtree.34_dj . In addition to the live sets we’ll be setting up some installations to help hone in on our ideas and reasons for this show. Presale is $18 in the bio. $20 day of. Doors 7:00 PM. Music 8:00 PM.
